Absence as Presence

These forms are created through an act of holding. As the plaster sets, it captures the shape not of my body, but of the space it occupied. Each form is an imprint of presence through absence. Smooth, bone-like, and relic-like, they echo a body shaped by trauma, where memory is held not only in thought, but in posture and form.

They are both witness and residue — what remains after contact, after holding, after the body has moved on.
